There were four Lotto 649 bonus draws held in June 2008. The bonus draw campaign was launched when the $21.9 million jackpot was won in the June 14 draw. All four bonus draws were won causing a rather large funding committment of $75.3 million. The bonus draws are funded in two ways. A certain percentage of lottery sales is allocated to fund bonus draws along with unclaimed prizes.
